Great video again. I always appreciate Dennis's videos and perspective. I absolutely am on the side of freedom and the economy, and less fear. I can only say though, that Covid is a slightly different kettle of fish ... since it is a national health emergency. I know the crowd here will fry my fish, so let me have a go. Comparing now to 1958 or 1968 when comparable people died from a virus is not dealing with one huge, huge difference. The manner and the speed at which this virus spreads. If you see that only, you can see that the reason why there are less than 300 000 deaths in America right now after only less than a year... is because the virus was not allowed to spread unfettered. There have been some checks in the USA anyway. Canada, north of you, had "lockdowns" in most provinces, but they weren't full lockdowns, and still they fared a lot better than than the States. Other countries went further still - like South Korea where I live - and we are now only at 1000 cases a day nationwide, and holding steady there for 3 weeks now, hoping to avoid restrictions other than good health safety procedures. So, my point is, more restrictions, even lockdowns do work for that reason: it prevents mass mathematical spread of infections. And the spread is exponential, with doubling times decreasing rapidly - meaning the virus is spreading faster and faster - when people don't follow basic health safety procedures. The overall data absolutely shows this. You can point to all kinds of local phenomena, or anomalies with complex variables affecting deaths, infection rate, mask ineffectiveness etc., but overall what I am saying is not me, it is well established.

Typically a renal compromised patients tends to be harder to stabilize than the healthier patients, but surprisingly ALL of them but a tiny handful did significantly better. Why would not my education system be training for compliance and division?
